The end of the day was marked by a fun and lively Multicultural Presentation organised by the VSS Team, where the participants in pre-assigned groups, got to showcase their home countries in different categories: Food, Culture, History, Politics, and Sports. The task was aimed at showcasing their countries; the good, the bad, and the grey areas that shape them. The presentations revealed that cultures across Europe shared many similarities in food and festivals, and although there were unique qualities to each, there were certainly shared elements that tied them together, linguistically, or otherwise.
Many of the participants were kind enough to also share a taste of their home countries as shown by the several delicious dishes and small, tasty treats from Hungary, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Poland, and other countries. And finally, as the perfect way to punctuate a vibrant day, a hearty barbeque spread was organised on the patio by the Villa Restaurant.
